We sincerely want to thank everyone that participated in LQG's February Charity Quilt In … it was definitely a very productive day! Such enthusiasm was shown that there were 148 bears completed … 30 large bears and 118 small bears! PLUS … there were also 25 quilts completed. And we had fun sewing, stuffing and talking while doing so. We are definitely off to a good start for this year's charity donations and Sharing the Love of Quilting!
If you're still in the mood for sewing … and have scraps left over from your Christmas projects … you may want to get a jump on Christmas stockings for Step, Inc. (Head Start of Franklin County). Stockings should be around 15 inches in length. Again this year, they do not need to be filled … the teachers will fill the stockings themselves since they know what the children need.
