In 1990 Nancy Miller, a part-time resident of New Hampshire and SML, gave her impression of a Lake Quilters logo to Betty Hatfield. Betty adapted it to the present design and made the appliquéd banner which the guild has used since 1991. Later it was decided to have pins made in the same design. Betty sent a photo of the banner to the company that still makes the pins for us today.
