Rug Hooking at Smith Mountain Lake
The SML Rug Hookers meet the 4th Monday of each month at the Westlake Library. The session begins at 10am. Bring your lunch. We do traditional rug hooking using cut wool strips which are pulled through a fabric base (burlap, monk's cloth or linen) with a hand hook to form a looped surface. Supplies may be obtained from Fraser Rugs where we often have a hook-in on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
