2017

Visit the Virginia Quilt Museum. To learn about the museum's special events, exhibits, and classes visit the Virginia Quilt Museum.

Oct. 20-21. The Hearts and Hands ECA Quilters Guild of Sanford, NC will hold its biennial quilt show on October 20th and 21st at the Dennis Wicker Civic Center, 1801 Nash St., Sanford, NC (40 miles SW of Raleigh). The show hours will be: Fri. Oct. 20 from 10am - 5pm, and Sat. Oct. 21 from 10am - 4pm. Admission is $6, under 12 free. The theme of the show is "Look on the Bright Side". 2018

February 17-19. Kevin Womack is organizing two Bonnie Hunter workshops and a lecture for Peaks & Pieces Quilt Guild in Bedford, VA in February 2018. Bonnie will be teaching her Scrap Crystals workshop on Sat., Feb. 17 and Jamestown Landing workshop on Mon., Feb. 19. Each class is $70. Those interested may email Kevin at Kevin@KevinWomackArt.com. Bonnie will be giving her Addicted to Scraps lecture at 1pm on Sunday, Feb. 18. Seating will be limited, so please don't wait. Lecture tickets are $5 pre-paid or $10 at the door. *April 6-7. Lake Quilters Guild Quilt Show 2018... "Our Quilts, Our Passion" will be held at Trinity Ecumenical Parish, 40 Lakemount Drive, Moneta, Virginia. Show hours are Friday, April 6, 9:30am to 4:30pm and Saturday, April 7, 9:30am to 4:00pm. Admission is a $5 donation. Members of the church will provide a delicious lunch for everyone to purchase and enjoy on both days. We have two beautiful raffle quilts. The tickets will be $2 each and may be purchased from any guild member starting October 24, 2017. In addition to our quilts, there will be a number of displays made by our bee members.
