**May '06 Meeting Displays**

	Quilter of the Month May Quilter of the Month was Cindy Clark. Her diverse skills are apparent in the three photos of her many and varied quilting projects displayed at the May Guild Meeting. The bird houses at lower left were made by paper piecing; buttons were added to form the "bird hole." At lower right is an example of ribbon embroidery. Cindy will be forming a new bee in the Virginia Dare area. If you are interested in joining, email Cindy at cindy49quilt@aol.com.


The Bees Display... At right is work of The NewBees. This has been a beginners class for those who want to learn the basics. Below is the May Display for the Shady Ladies Bee. The Sunbonnet Sue quilt will be donated to the Rescue Mission in Roanoke.
